Bar Regalias

I’ll describe the rest of our Casino de la Concha some other time. Although our name was Casino de la Concha- there was no gambling- In Spanish the word Casino also means a type of inn (derives from ‘casa’. Our neighbors to the south across from Ave 1 A had a gamblig casino bar though, named Regalias. It had a swinging salsa band that played until late at night in the week-ends. Luckilly- I didn’t have school in the summer or I would have been a little red eyed on Monday mornings. Love, Uncle José.
